Livingston Taylor's Still On The Road 50 Years Later
Wednesday, November 20, 2019
Elaine Diehl spoke by phone with singer/songwriter Livingston Taylor on November 14th about his upcoming concert at the 20th Century Theater on December 4th. He's also been teaching at the Berklee College of Music for 30 years.
During their conversation, Taylor talks about what his set list might be, his thoughts on nuclear energy, as well as the process used to select the songs on his "The Best of LIVe: 50 Years of Livingston Taylor" cd. He also talked about the need for great players like Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Carole King, Billy Joel, and his brother James to know how to play either a guitar or piano well to advance their careers.
