Hi, Livingston Taylor here.
Over a year ago, all of our lives changed drastically and the music industry came screeching to a halt. With this change came a great opportunity: for the first time in over 50 years, I was off the road, allowing me time to connect with my fans from all over the world in a much different way.
For over a year, 52+ weeks, I have been able to host ‘The Livingston Taylor show’ from my living room to your living room. The show is equal parts Mr. Rogers, Flatt and Scruggs, and some Bill Nye the Science guy thrown in. This show has been built to be a half hour of tunes, tall tales, and tantalizing tidbits each week. There has been great feedback on the show, and I have had a great time doing it.
The Livingston Taylor show became the best way for me to stay connected to you — my friends — and boy, has it been fun! The good news is that my concert and touring schedule has started to open back up, so I searched for a practical way to continue doing the show while touring on the road. My management team keeping the train on the tracks consists of six people who join me in celebrating the community this show has grown. To honor the time, attention, and passion my team and I have invested in the show, we are bringing The Livingston Taylor Show to a new home — Patreon.
Patreon is a platform started by musicians to help artists connect directly with their fans and supporters. This platform is a way for me to share my show and all of my other projects directly to you. There are over 3 million active patreons currently supporting artists, writers, and entrepreneurs, forming communities and keeping the arts alive in a practical, independent way. Patreon is part of a Community Supported Artist movement which is now alive and well and one of the biggest ways for people to keep their favorite artists turning out great art and entertainment.
Patreon is going to be a great place for me to not only keep The Livingston Taylor show going strong, but will give me a better, more intimate way to keep connecting with you. From virtual concerts and interviews to lessons, news, show information, and yes, science discussions and beyond, you never know where it’s going to go! But I do know that Patreon will be a more efficient way for me to keep the music, entertaining, informing and serving you alive.
For years, folks asked me, besides attending shows, what is the best way to support my music and creativity. Becoming a Patreon supporter will enable me the opportunity to continue bringing you The Livingston Taylor Show and so much more.

This is going to be easy! Let’s get started.
