Folksinger Livingston Taylor Takes Emerson Center’s stage to kick-off New Masters of Music series

The Masters of Music Series is a 3-part musical event, the first of its kind, to appear on The Emerson Center’s stage. Brought to Vero Beach by concert promoter Rusty Young of MusicWorks, Inc., the three performances will bring back fond memories for those that grew up in the glory days of rock and folk music, and will make new memories for those that simply enjoy listening to great music.

Spend Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14 at 7 p.m., with folksinger Livingston “Liv” Taylor. Taylor, brother of the iconic James Taylor, has enthralled audiences for forty years with a diverse original repertoire of country, folk, bluegrass, and blues. His top forty hits “I Will Be in Love with You,” and “I’ll Come Running” launched his career, and a steady song output has characterized his performances ever since. Liv has toured with Linda Ronstadt, Jimmy Buffett, and Fleetwood Mac among many others, but his fans most often come to experience the winning combination of raconteur, balladeer, and pure fun music-making that characterize his concerts. Livingston’s fourteenth album, Last Alaska Moon is out now. Taylor is an American singer-songwriter born in 1950 Boston, and he is currently a faculty member at Berklee College of Music. His genres include Jazz, Folk Rock, Soul and Gospel, and his instruments, besides voice, include guitar, banjo and piano.
